HR Business Partner - employee relations (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Basin Legal Group is a law firm in Phoenix serving businesses and individuals, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client files. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
