HR Business Partner - employee relations (Phoenix, AZ)

Harborlight Corner Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Phoenix area, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter reading. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
