HR Business Partner - employee relations (Omaha, NE)

Nova Yarrow Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Omaha. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter readings. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
