HR Business Partner - employee relations (Oakland, CA)

Greenridge Cobalt Markets is a Oakland retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on promotions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
