HR Business Partner - employee relations (Oakland, CA)

Rivermark Corner Property Management looks after rental homes across the Oakland area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on vendor invoices. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with vendor invoices. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
