HR Business Partner - employee relations (Oakland, CA)

Clearpath Meridian Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on procurement. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
