HR Business Partner - employee relations (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Ivory Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around New Orleans, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on contractor visits. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
