HR Business Partner - employee relations (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Sparrow Freight and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
