HR Business Partner - employee relations (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Pine Financial Partners provides savings, lending and payment services from New Orleans. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer onboarding. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
