HR Business Partner - employee relations (Milwaukee, WI)

Summit Ember Press is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 486 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on paper stock. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
