HR Business Partner - employee relations (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Drift Arts Center is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on event logistics. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
