HR Business Partner - employee relations (Miami, FL)

Harborlight Haven Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Miami area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school calendars. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
