HR Business Partner - employee relations (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Clear Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Miami with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 703 people based in Miami. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on weigh tickets. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
