HR Business Partner - employee relations (Miami, FL)

Ironwood Haven Construction is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people based in Miami. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
