HR Business Partner - employee relations (Miami, FL)

Westbrook Cedar Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Miami serving households and small businesses, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 798 people based in Miami. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loan files. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
