HR Business Partner - employee relations (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Northwind River Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 154 people based in Madison. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
