HR Business Partner - employee relations (Madison, WI)

Summit Rook Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Madison, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
