HR Business Partner - employee relations (Louisville, KY)

Harborlight Loom Insurance is an insurance company in Louisville with claims and service teams. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
