HR Business Partner - employee relations (Little Rock, AR)

Westbrook Oak Civic Services supports public agencies in Little Rock with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
