HR Business Partner - employee relations (Little Rock, AR)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Junction Construction Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
