HR Business Partner - employee relations (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Amber Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
