HR Business Partner - employee relations (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen Cobalt Learning Group is an education provider in Kansas City serving students and families, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Families are partners. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on student accounts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
