HR Business Partner - employee relations (Jackson, MS)

Foxglove Forge Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jackson, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on constituent requests. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
