HR Business Partner - employee relations (Indianapolis, IN)

Westbrook North Insurance Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
