HR Business Partner - employee relations (Indianapolis, IN)

Fernwood Vale Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Indianapolis, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 732 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident services. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with resident services. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
