HR Business Partner - employee relations (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Timber Property Management manages apartment communities around Indianapolis. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on unit turnovers. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with unit turnovers. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
