HR Business Partner - employee relations (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Nest Insurance is an insurance company in Houston with claims and service teams, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on premium billing. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
