HR Business Partner - employee relations (Houston, TX)

Summit Maple Medical Group is a Houston company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on device records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
