HR Business Partner - employee relations (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Nest Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Houston, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 376 people based in Houston. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
