HR Business Partner - employee relations (Honolulu, HI)

Bright Kestrel Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Honolulu. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on enrolment. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
