HR Business Partner - employee relations (Honolulu, HI)

Ironwood Maple Construction is a Honolulu contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on project schedules. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
