HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Iron Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Hartford, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on regulatory submissions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
