HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Drift Inspection Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field inspections. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
