HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Kestrel Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Hartford area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
