HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Bluepeak Basin Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Hartford. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on procurement. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
