HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Silverline Mill Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Hartford design routes and schedules. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
