HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Foxglove Basin Foods produces packaged foods at its Hartford plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 832 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
