HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Northwind Stone Arts Center Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on exhibitions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
