HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Summit Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Hartford region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
