HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Highbridge Forge Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Hartford. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 59 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service complaints. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
