HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Bright Field Manufacturing Group is a Hartford manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 227 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tooling. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
