HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Bright Willow Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Hartford, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on classroom supplies. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
