HR Business Partner - employee relations (Hartford, CT)

Highbridge Fern Banking Services is a regional lender in Hartford with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fraud alerts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
