HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Summit Birch Energy is an energy provider in Grand Rapids focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter readings. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
