HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Sparrow Banking Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loan files. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
