HR Business Partner - employee relations (Fresno, CA)

Fernwood Kestrel Property Management is a Fresno property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on unit turnovers. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with unit turnovers. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
