HR Business Partner - employee relations (El Paso, TX)

Highbridge Thistle Water Authority is a public water utility serving the El Paso area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
