HR Business Partner - employee relations (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Haven Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Detroit. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 168 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lots. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
