HR Business Partner - employee relations (Detroit, MI)

Redstone Junction Financial is a financial-services company in Detroit. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer onboarding. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
