HR Business Partner - employee relations (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Willow Manufacturing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lines. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
